Sunday Bloody...Mary. Stopped in to meet a friend and when I walked in I was embraced by several old childhood friends on the TV. Every screen was playing a different show from the 60s, 70s, 80s & even 90s. Lost in Space, Gilligan's Island, 90125...etc. So, instantly I feel in love. The red lights behind the bar the eye candy placed everywhere made it a trip down memory lane. But that wasn't the point of my visit. "Best Bloody Mary's in town", they said. Take a left around the corner to what seemed like a secret room, the Bloody Mary bar exposed itself. EVERYTHING you need to throw into your drink. They may have had a pizza and bread sticks to there too to garnish with, I'm not sure. Conversations with the staff was informative, enlightening and entertaining. Located right downtown Grand Rapids (close to Van Andel Arena), it's a perfect stop for anyone local and /or just passing through. Cheers!
